Tags are flexible, easy-to-use, and provide a great way to track donor segments, communication preferences, and more. To add a tag to a Contact record, just click on the blue Add icon in the tag box on the Contact Overview tab, and then either type in the name of the tag you wish to add or scroll to select it from the list. You may select multiple tags at once.

Each tag will display a counter representing the total number of Contacts who share a particular tag. Clicking on the name of any tag will display a list of all Contacts with that Tag.

Users may also type the name of any tag into the "Search for..." box in the upper left to see a list of all Contacts with that tag.
