Once you've configured Payments for your organization, you'll be ready to accept new credit card donations! But to do that, you'll need to create a new giving form.
You can follow the steps laid out in this article to create your form. When using Payments, there are just two main differences to consider.
Select Your Processor
If you have previously used another processor (WePay or Stripe) with Virtuous Giving and you are migrating to using Payments, then you may have multiple processors available for your account. If so, when creating a new giving form, you'll have the option to select a processor for your form.
In order to use Payments with your form, be sure to select "Virtuous" as your payment processor.
New Bank Account Options
When using Virtuous Giving with either WePay or Stripe, you have the option to allow donors to pay via their bank account, but only by logging in to their online banking account and authorizing the transaction.
When using Payments, you can still offer a "Pay with Bank Account" option on forms, but donors will just be asked to supply their bank account number and routing numbers.
This should make it much easier for donors to process online payments.
Once you've created and customized your form, be sure to save and publish it, and then you can embed it on your website.
