The integration with Eventbrite allows users to create an Event in the CRM app and then sync it to an active Eventbrite account. You can then use the public URL for the event in Eventbrite in Marketing Emails and Direct Mail pieces to track responses via Eventbrite. Those responses will then sync to the CRM. This article provides an overview of how to set up the integration and how to manage the long-term functionality.

Important Notes
- An event that already exists in Eventbrite cannot be synced on Virtuous.
- For any Eventbrite events where a fee is charged to attend, the transaction data will NOT be synced to the CRM. It’s necessary to export transaction data and then import those records as Gifts.
- An Event MUST have an Event Date in the future and a valid Address in order to sync from the CRM to Eventbrite.
- Any Individual that already exists in the CRM will be added to the Event list. Individuals who do not exist will be available to review and create in the Gift and Contact Import Tool.
Configure the Integration
In the CRM, navigate to the app market place using the left-hand menu.
- Select “Integrations”
- Select “App Marketplace”
- Search for Eventbrite to locate the integration page
Select “Configure”
Select “Add Integration”
Using the drop-down menu, select “Eventbrite Integration“
After the integration details have refreshed, select “Save Integration.”
Next, select “Grant Access” to connect your Eventbrite account. This will prompt you to log in to your Eventbrite account.
After you have successfully logged in to Eventbrite, the configuration process is complete.

To sync an Event from the CRM app to Eventbrite, navigate to the specific Event. Select “Actions” and then “Add Eventbrite Event.”
You will be pushed to Eventbrite where the new event will be created. You can then manage all necessary details in the Eventbrite Event page. You can then access the public URL to use in communications for tracking registrations.
Once an Event has been synced to Eventbrite, you can access the Eventbrite page at any time from the CRM Event by selecting “Actions” and then "Eventbrite Event."
Configuring Eventbrite Order Form
In order to accurately capture data from Eventbrite registrations, you will need to set up an Eventbrite Order Form to collect relevant data from registrants. In order to see Address data in the CRM, the Order Form must specifically request “Home Address” as no other Address data will be synced to the CRM.
For more on configuring the Order Form, check out Eventbrite's help pages.
