So you've created a volunteer opportunity, added individuals to it, tracked their hours and now you're ready to report out on volunteer activity. To do this you'll first have to decide whether you want to report out on a volunteer and their related activity OR a volunteer opportunity and its related activity.
Reporting on a Volunteer and their related activity:
For a quick glance at a specific volunteer's activity, you can utilize contact widgets! Of the available contact widgets, there are two that specifically showcases volunteer involvement:
The Volunteer Details contact widget allows you to see the specific volunteer hours or shifts this individual has completed.

The Volunteer Overview contact widget allows you to see the total life-to-date or year-to-date hours completed by a volunteer.

For a more in-depth, custom look at all volunteer activity, you can utilize a Volunteer type Query.
This will show you which volunteers meet a specific set of criteria. For example, you might want to know who has volunteered during the first quarter regardless of the program or perhaps you want to know which volunteers participated in your volunteer programs based in Ohio.

Reporting on a Volunteer Opportunity and its related activity:
A Volunteer Opportunity type query will show you all of the opportunities that meet a set of criteria. For example, you might want to know which high-priority opportunities require more than 10 hours of volunteer support or perhaps you want to look at all of the opportunities that are set for June in Colorado. Query results will show you all of the opportunities that meet the parameters you set

Each volunteer opportunity will also showcase the progress toward your goals as it relates to Hours Needed, Volunteers Needed, and current Volunteer Numbers. These stats will help you to know at a glance how much volunteer support or staffing you have for a specific opportunity.
