When using Payments and Virtuous Giving, you'll have the ability to view transactions and manage details about those transactions from the Online Giving page. Whether you just need a quick review of the most recent transactions or you need to process modifications to an existing Recurring Gift, this Dashboard will be your starting place.

Accessing the Online Giving Dashboard
To access this main management page, select "Online Giving" and then selecting "Dashboard" from the left-hand menu.
If you haven't set up your Virtuous Giving account yet, then you'll see a link to begin the process.

If your Virtuous giving account is already configured, then you'll see the Payments Dashboard. This will give you a snapshot of your online giving activity at a glance.
Reviewing Transactions
Near the top of the the screen, you'll see several tabs that you can use to navigate between the various giving pages. Select the "Transactions" tab to access a list of all your online transactions.
You'll see a list of all of your current online transactions, with the most recent listed first.
It's important to note here that you will see transactions here in real-time, so not all of the transactions may be imported to Virtuous CRM and linked to Contact records yet. Transactions will be bundled nightly for processing and then imported each day via the Gift & Contact Import tool. To learn more about this process check out this video series on gift processing.
You can use the filter options on the left to find transactions for a specific date range, if needed.
Select the three dots to the right of any transaction to be able to view more details about that transaction, or issue a refund.
When viewing the transaction detail, you'll be able to confirm additional details about the transaction, including the last four digits of the card used (or the bank account, for ACH transactions) and the city, state, and postal code for the donor.
Managing Recurring Gifts
Select the "Recurring" tab near the top of the screen to view and manage Recurring transactions.
This will list all Recurring charges in your Payments account. It's important to note that these are just the schedules, in essence, with the amount and frequency. When actual recurring payments are charged, you'll see those listed on the "Transactions" tab.
As with the "Transactions" tab, you can filter for specific Recurring transactions, with the added ability to filter by amount or by the Donor's email address.
Select the three dots to the right of any Recurring transaction to view detailed information. This includes a history of charges, donor actions (like updating a payment method), and anything else related to that Recurring schedule.
Canceling a Recurring Gift
You can also cancel a Recurring Gift on a donor's behalf, if necessary. Canceling a Recurring Gift can ONLY be completed from the Recurring Tab in available in the Online Giving Dashboard.
After confirming the cancelation, you can expect the cancelation to come through the Gift and Contact Import Tool the next day. After this change in imported, then the cancelation will reflect on the Donors contact record.
NOTE: Canceling a Recurring Gift from a Donor's Contact record will NOT cancel the Stripe auto withdrawal.
