We know change is inevitable. If your organization is using Single Sign On (SSO) with Virtuous and changes email providers (i.e. from Microsoft to Google or vice versa), we recommend following the steps below before the switch to ensure your team can use Virtuous’s SSO without issue.
Linking New Email to Existing User
Prior to email provider migration, users can link the new email providers’ accounts to their existing Virtuous accounts. This ensures continued login access when the email address associated with the old email account changes or is deactivated.
To link your new email provider with your existing account, click on your profile photo in the upper right hand corner of the screen and then click Edit Profile.
From the pop up modal, click SIGN IN WITH GOOGLE or SIGN IN WITH MICROSOFT to sign in with your NEW email provider.
After you have entered your login information, you're good to go! Once the migration is complete and your old email provider is deactivated, you will still have access to your Virtuous account and login through SSO with your new email provider. All previously created data that is assigned to your User’s account will continue to function with the new email login.

Using Existing Email and Password
If your User accounts have existing email and password logins using traditional login, rather than SSO, you are able to login at all time and link your new SSO provider account using the step above in the Linking a New Email to an Existing User section.
Note that using SSO without a separate email and password combination for Virtuous may cause loss of access for users entirely upon deactivation of the legacy email provider if neither of the recommendations above are not followed.
