When you host events for your organization, you need a streamlined check-in process that makes managing event attendance efficient. Virtuous CRM+ simplifies this process by automatic email confirmations and QR codes for check-in. This guide walks you through how the ticketing and check-in system works using Ticketed Events.
Once an attendee completes their event registration and purchases their ticket, they'll see a confirmation screen displaying their registration details. This page provides instant verification that their registration and associated payment were successful. Click here to learn more about the Confirmation Page on your Ticketed Event.
Then, attendees will receive an automated email confirmation. This email contains the event details (date, time, location) and a PDF with their ticket(s).
If attendees need to review their registration information, they have the option to view their confirmation details by selecting the View Confirmation button. This directs them back to the original confirmation screen where they can review their ticket purchase(s) and event information.
The PDF attachment serves as the attendee's official event ticket and includes add-ons, sponsorships, and a unique QR code for check-in. If more than one ticket is purchased on a single transaction, all tickets will be combined within one PDF.
The PDF ticket instructs attendees to either print or save the ticket to their phone to bring to the event for check-in. The QR code enables quick check-in at your event. Scan the QR code using a tablet or mobile device to bring up the registration information. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and select CHECK-IN ATTENDEES to check in the guest(s).
The attendee information will be updated in real-time in Virtuous CRM+.
